THE CAWTHRA HOUSE (built 1901) <<more>>

Cawthra Square is Edwardian architecture at its finest

Cawthra Square is Edwardian architecture at its finest. The oversized and stately design denotes it's important heritage. Built in 1901 as a Sergeant's home for the York Militia, beside a park that was the center of Toronto's cultural events of the era, the home is one of only two remaining such homes on Cawthra Square.
